Warrnambool

We packed up and left the Saw Pit camping ground. It had filled up quite a bit overnight due to it being a weekend, so it was good timing to leave.

We drove through to Port Fairy and stopped in at the local markets to get some fruit then continued driving on to Warrnambool.  We've found that it's easiest to get washing done while you're camping at a caravan park, so everyone else can keep playing while mum does the washing! So we checked into a caravan park there for the weekend.

The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and getting their scooters out again! They also like to find the TV room as they are 'deprived' of screens all week. So if they're 'lost' we can usually track them down to the nearest screen!

Late in the afternoon we headed to BCF on the hunt for a swag for Chad. Most nights we're getting up for Axel and/or Rowan which we can deal with but in between that - Chad's habit of 'headbanging' in his sleep rocks the van and wakes us up again! So we've decided that he can camp outside the van in his swag wherever possible - and he's super happy with the arrangement (and so are we!!!).

On Sunday we listened to a sermon in the van then headed out for a Sunday drive to see some of the sights along the Great Ocean Road.

First stop was the 'Bay of Islands'. The rain had just started as we hopped out so we took a few photos and headed back to the car.  Apologies for the grainy photos - camera issues!

This boat ramp would have to be Australia's steepest ramp!

We then stopped at London Bridge.  One of the arches collapsed in 1990.

From there we drove onto the stop where the 12 Apostles are but there were soooo many tour buses that we decided to leave it for another day and get there earlier in the day.

We drove back to Warrnambool in the pouring rain! It was bucketing! Chad had left his swag out to seal the seams so we wondered how that held up but thankfully his bed was dry!  The kids swam in the indoor pool again.  It continued to rain for most of the night.
